The fit is perfect on my existing pot, and the glass is a nice heavy weight that feels durable. I’ve been using it for simmering soups and the seal seems tight, no steam escaping.

I was worried a spare lid wouldn't match the original, but this one sits flush and seals just like the one that came with my pot. The glass is heavy and the knob feels sturdy, so I'm glad I didn't have to toss the whole cookware set.

Finally found a lid that fits my older saucepan perfectly, and the glass is thick enough to see the simmer without lifting it. Fits snugly and steams vegetables in about five minutes.
